Environmental Sustainability

State Asphalts NSW has implemented the following environmental sustainability practices;

  • Recycled asphalt product (RAP) based mixes
  • Lowered carbon footprint due to use of RAP
  • EPA licensed RAP storage and production facility
  • Environmental best practice regarding site water run off.
  • Implementation of dust and air pollution control measures
  • Warm mix asphalt technologies to lower greenhouse gas emissions

 

Social Sustainability

State Asphalts NSW aims to reduce its negative impact upon society and increase its positive influence through the following;
